Taylor Hunter has grown immensely as a designer and an individual through her experiences and opportunities gained from the Bachelor of Interior Design program and first years as a designer. Looking back at the journey she took to get where she is has given her many skills including rendering and drafting through software such as AutoCAD, 3DS Max, and Sketchup, and personal skills such as collaboration and team management. Her drive for knowledge has also led her to strive towards being self-taught in Revit. Taylor spent a term working as a co-op student with Hay Design the summer of 2016 where she quickly learned the ropes and integrated herself with the team which lead to her full-time employment as a valued designer at Hay since September 2017.
Taylor is currently an ARIDO Intern and is working towards the completion of her NCIDQ and LEED GA examinations. She also hopes to acquire a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Interior Design.
In her down time, Taylor enjoys reading and has quite a large collection of books ranging from retellings of fairy tales to futuristic dystopian novels. She also enjoys baking, having completed a previous diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts, and is has been hired to design cakes for birthdays and other celebrations.
