Perth Office Administrator
Our Perth Office Manager, Melissa Garneau, joins the Hay Design team with over 20 years of customer service and 10 years in the tourism industry. Melissa started her to develop her customer service in retail, working for a home décor department store, managing the bedding and window department. After helping to set up a new store in Halifax, Melissa caught the travel bug and headed for the Canadian Rockies.
After working a few seasons at the Columbia Icefield in Alberta, she then began her administrative career in the travel industry with a local company in Banff, AB. After a couple years, she then transferred and became the Office Manager for the same company in their Jasper, AB, home branch. Born and raised in Lanark County, she then traded the Rocky Mountains for the Mississippi River and returned home with her growing family.
Melissa’s administrative and customer service experience, combined with her sunny disposition and professional nature, make her a valuable addition to the Hay Design Team. When she’s not organizing customer and project orders, she delivers exceptional customer service to our Hay Design Furnishing and Décor customers.
During her downtime you can find her with her family, on the river or running the trails. She also enjoys visiting small historic towns; learning their history, appreciating the architecture and the layout of times past; all while taking in their quaint local culture.
