LifeSource is a company that prioritized overall holistic wellbeing of the body. HDI was to incorporate the company’s core values and vision for the future of their new location. LifeSource was striving to create a modern and fresh medical office of the future.
HDI selected finishes and designed details throughout the space that brought in natural wood materials while using their branding as pops of colour throughout the space.
LifeSource required furniture which followed the same feel, and which was not your standard medical office furniture/exam rooms while still adhering to strict material standards for medical spaces. Custom reception desk and was built to using the reclaimed wood and unique feature lighting to make the entrance space radiate a modern and natural aesthetic.
A constraint of the project was allocating the space required for the various practices within the newly purchased space. Another constraint was acoustical privacy between exam rooms and between practices. HDI worked with LifeSource to design acoustically sound spaces and millwork that was functional and aesthetically pleasing within all exam rooms, reception area, and staff area.
